Passing the finish line east of the port of Genoa, Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 14min 22sec and, Spindrift racing won the fifth and final stage of the European Tour after 1 day, 15 hours 21 min 22 seconds of racing at an average speed of 15.76 knots on the theoretical course of 651 miles. Behind the fight for second place is currently very tight between Musandam-Oman Sail and Race for Water. Positioned to leeward of their rivals FONCIA are currently fourth, but were sailing faster than Race for Water and Musandam-Oman Sail
